A Secret Place I Know

I know a very special private place
where dreams come true and love fills all space,
Where rainbow bridges span creeks of wine
and our souls feast on moments of time,
Where wishing trees grant our every desire
and in the lakes and streams swim fish of fire.
And there are waterfalls of caramel candy
and on certain days it rains marshmallows and brandy,
And the warm summer wind plays tag with the trees
dancing and twirling thru the whispering leaves,
And the man in the moon heaves a deep sigh
as he gazes at the sun burning in the sky.
There are unicorns and elephants that you can hear talk
And where the branches of the trees part as you walk,
The daffodils dance with fields of clover
twirling with delight that is never ever over,
The pulse of the world beating slow, strong and sure,
It’s the heart of all life so mysterious and pure.
And I ride on horses that gallop with the breeze
and we soar thru the sky and over blue seas,
And I sing to the stars and the moon and the sun
as we all join together in endless joyous fun,
And the daises whose petals I pull for a sign
say ‘she loves me’ and that ‘she'll always be mine’.
At night by the side of a crackling fire,
I gaze into the eyes of my true love's desire,
And we fall asleep in each other's arms
our souls caressed by magical charms,
And we become part of one another's being
totally filled with each other's deepest feeling.
