The Paradox

Paradoxes are the daydreams of the universe at play.

They are simultaneously process and content, they are one and the same as their opposite and yet not identical.
Paradoxes have no answers because they are not questions.
They are facts.

True paradoxes are not chewing gum for the mind:
The sound of one hand clapping
Thinking of not thinking.

True paradoxes are not self canceling:
The class of all things that are not members of any class.
True paradoxes are not true.

True paradoxes are not quantifiable:
Move half way towards the nearest wall, then half way again, keep repeating an infinite number of times and you will still never reach the wall.
There are the same number of odd numbers as there are integers.

True paradoxes do not consume energy.

True paradoxes are beyond thinking, beyond opinion, beyond the mind. They are contradictory, unbelievable, even absurd but they may actually be true in fact. You may not even recognize them as paradoxes at all:
I am reminded of a moment I had long forgotten.
Existence.
Myself.

Not everything is a paradox.
A flower is not a paradox. It is a flower.

I think that the only thing paradoxes are good for is to play with.
It is an art form to learn how to play with paradoxes.
It is a skill to play with them.

I think there is only one paradox.
It is the paradox we all face, that we all share, separately and together.
